A mermaid poem

Deep diving with the maidens of the sea.
The current carrying me into the deep.
Their whispers and giggles enchant my heart.
Their melodies tie a string around my soul.
Oh but the dangers beneath the waves,
Masked by forbidden temptations.
The taboo & the damning tales,
The illicit & the repercussions—
But to me, they mean nothing at all
As I touch her pearl-like porcelain skin
Every brush, every tune,
Sure fire Ecstasy 🌊.
