Once in a great while

Unfortunately the quality of this picture isn't great thanks to my cell phone camera and my shaky hand. But if you can make it out it's Madison and Jacobi sitting in first-class seats. Once in a great while the planets align and the stars smile and weary airline eployees get put in first class. Even more bizarre is that this isn't even my airline, it's Delta but I'm not going to complain.

We were lucky enough to ride back to Chile in first-class which was Madison and Jacobi's first time in the leather seats. They especially liked the personal tv's with several choices of things to watch, I think Jacobi watched High School Musical 3 two or three times.

Only bad thing for me now is that they might get used to it and I'll be to blame if they don't get first-class every time they fly.

Tahiti Village Hotel - Las Vegas

So when we went to Las Vegas it was mid January, cold in Utah but t-shirt weather during the day in Vegas. However in my quest to find a fun hotel to stay at I could only find one hotel with a pool open in the "off season", Tahiti Village. I was pleased to hear they keep their pool open all year so I thought I would give them a try. Tahiti Village is a time share property but also accepts regular hotel guests, although we did feel at times we weren't as important as the time share folks (no butter for your continental breakfast croissant will do that.)

All in all though it was a great place to stay, very nice rooms, on the strip location (down by one of the outlet malls) big swimming pool and best of all a lazy river!

Madison and Jacobi in fabulous Las Vegas

We had a great time in Las Vegas, we probably should have stayed another day.
